LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Police say they have solved a 30-year-old homicide case by following around a suspect until they were able to get a DNA sample from a coffee cup he used in a restaurant. Detectives who followed him obtained a sample of his DNA from a coffee cup at a San Pedro restaurant, and police said it matched DNA from fluid samples taken from the victim, authorities said.
