By submitting your order to DNA Solutions, you agree to the following conditions:

General Purchase Terms and Conditions for DNA Art Service

  1. The individual placing the order (from now on, "The Client") understands that they are making a payment in the concept of deposit or purchasing a DNA test or gift voucher from DNA Solutions (included but not limited to DNA Solutions S.L., DNA Solutions Pty. Ltd., DNA Solutions Inc. and DNA Solutions LLC.). By placing the order, DNA Solutions will send a sample collection kit or gift voucher in order to proceed with a DNA test.
  2. DNA Solutions accepts payments by any of the methods stated on the online form. Instructions and conditions for each payment method are stated on the online form.
  3. DNA Solutions takes no responsibility for any additional fee the Client's bank may charge for this purchase transaction.
  4. The Client is responsible for verifying that they are placing the order for the desired type of service.
  5. The Client is responsible for verifying that the details provided for the shipping of the kit or issuing of the gift voucher are correct and complete; DNA Solutions takes no responsibility for incorrect or incomplete postal/email addresses. If a sample collection kit is not delivered due to the details provided being incomplete or incorrect, the Client accepts to pay an extra charge equivalent to the deposit amount for the shipping of a second kit.
  6. It is the Client's responsibility to make payments within the expected timeframe (payment instructions will provide more details regarding this timeframe). The Client understands that an order may be archived and/or deleted if the payment for the service requested (deposit or full upfront payment) is not received within that timeframe. In the event that the Client sends a payment outside the expected timeframe, a new online order must be placed.
  7. DNA Solutions will send the sample collection kit by normal post when the Client has paid the deposit, and by express post or tracked post (as advertised on the website) when the Client has paid the full amount upfront or redeems a gift voucher.
  8. The Client accepts to pay an extra amount for the sample collection kit to be shipped to any country outside the region covered by the office of DNA Solutions contacted by the Client. These details will be clearly stated on the online order form for the Client's information.
  9. The Client understands that the prices expressed on the website include the shipping within the region covered by the office receiving this purchase order. An extra charge will apply for the shipping of the product outside that region.
  10. DNA Solutions will mail the sample collection kit or issue the gift voucher within 24 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays) from the moment the order is received and the payment is confirmed. DNA Solutions shall not be held responsible if the expected shipping time and/or delivery is not met due to any third party (i.e. post service delays, mail being stolen). The Client shall be informed in the event any such difficulty is known by DNA Solutions.
  11. It is the Client's responsibility to inform DNA Solutions if they have not received the sample collection kit or gift voucher. If the Client claims they have not received the kit after a reasonable timeframe from the moment it was mailed, measures shall be taken: a) If the kit was mailed by normal post, DNA Solutions will mail a second kit at no extra cost. If the second kit also fails to be delivered, the Client may be required to pay an extra fee for the kit to be mailed by any tracked shipping method to ensure its correct delivery. b) If the kit was sent by tracked mail, DNA Solutions will make the necessary enquiries to know whether the kit was successfully delivered or not. If the post service proves that the kit was successfully delivered, the Client will accept the terms expressed in this document for the shipping of a second kit; if the post service confirms the kit is lost, DNA Solutions will send the Client a new kit by tracked post at no extra cost. Such enquiry may take several weeks, hence if the Client wishes to receive a new kit in the meantime, the equivalent to the deposit amount shall be charged, being this amount fully refunded if the post service finally confirms the loss of the item.
  12. If the Client claims that the kit was damaged upon arrival, being the integrity of the kit compromised, DNA Solutions will send the Client a new kit (following the same delivery methods) at no extra cost upon receipt of the damaged kit. The expenses for the return of the damaged kit will be paid by the Client.
  13. In the event of any extra collection kit being required by the Client, being the reason a misuse of the collection material provided, the Client accepts an extra charge equivalent to the deposit amount for the shipping of a second sample collection kit.
  14. The Client understands and accepts that any deposit paid for the shipping of the sample collection kit will not be refunded once the payment has been received.
  15. The Client understands and accepts that, when the full amount has been paid upfront, a cancellation fee of 30€/£30 applies if the Client decides to cancel the order. The Client understands that, in such event, DNA Solutions will not always be able to stop the shipping of the kit.
  16. The Client understands that all refund requests must be received in writing (by post or by email) and be accompanied by our refund form. DNA Solutions will email the Client said form upon request. Only refund forms signed by the Client and/or the payor will be accepted.
  17. The Client understand that no refund applies once the testing procedure has begun.
  18. The Client understands that these are the purchase terms and conditions and that the specific terms and conditions for the testing service requested will be included within the sample collection kit. DNA Solutions makes these terms and conditions also available on their website for the Client to read before proceeding with this purchase.
  19. Conditions regarding privacy and data protection policies are expressed on DNA Solutions' website and apply to this purchase.

Gift Voucher Purchase Additional Terms and Conditions

  1. Gift vouchers will be sent by email to the email address provided on the online form.
  2. The gift voucher purchased on www.dnaeffect.com is only valid for orders on www.dnaeffect.com. DNA Solutions may accept a DNAeffect gift voucher for a different service provided by DNA Solutions, however, this will need to be previously agreed by both parties.
  3. The Client may claim that a gift voucher has not been received within 7 days from the purchase. In this case, DNA Solutions will resend the gift voucher at no extra cost.
  4. Once a gift voucher has been sent to the Client, the Client becomes responsible for keeping a copy of the gift voucher in a safe place. If a gift voucher is misplaced, destroyed or by any means lost and it needs to be re-issued, a 15€/£15 fee will apply. Once a gift voucher has been redeemed, it will not be re-issued.
  5. DNA Solutions will not be held responsible for a gift voucher being unlawfully used without the owner's permission.
  6. The gift voucher will be valid for two (2) years from the date where it has been issued, the expiry date being stated on the voucher. Under no circumstances, a voucher will be accepted after the expiry date.
  7. The amount stated on the gift voucher is to be deducted from the total price of your order.
  8. The final price of the service ordered may be higher than the price stated on the gift voucher, in which case, the reminder amount must be paid before proceeding with the testing service.
  9. The gift voucher has no cash redemption value.
  10. The gift voucher cannot be used more than once.
  11. The gift voucher may not be partially refunded, not even in case the price of your order is lower than the price on your gift voucher. In this case, the remainder balance may be used for a different order within the validity period of the gift voucher.
  12. You may use two (2) or more gift vouchers for a single order.
  13. If the Client wishes to cancel the purchase of a gift voucher, he/she understands and accepts that a 30€/£30 cancellation fee will apply.
  14. if a gift voucher purchase is cancelled, when the full amount has been paid upfront, a cancellation fee of 30€/£30 applies if the Client decides to cancel the order. The Client understands that, in such event, DNA Solutions will not always be able to stop the shipping of the kit.
